Pilates T

Pilates T was conceived with the intention of transforming exercise into a spatial experience.

The project moves away from the conventional image of a fitness studio to create a serene, warm, and feminine environment, where architecture supports movement and fosters a sense of well-being from the moment of arrival.

Reception, waiting areas, and training spaces are brought together through a cohesive visual identity, balancing functionality, privacy, and a sense of openness.

Materials

The material palette is composed of warm tones, light woods, translucent textiles, and neutral finishes, creating a soft atmosphere that embraces natural light.

Lighting plays an essential role in shaping the experience. Indirect lighting and decorative fixtures complement the functional illumination required throughout the different areas, creating an environment that feels light, quiet, and welcoming.

Process

The design process began with an analysis of the studio’s operational needs and the organization of its different activities. From there, the concept, spatial layout, materiality, lighting, furniture, and architectural visualization were developed as part of a unified design approach.

Three-dimensional modeling became an essential design tool, allowing proportions, circulation, and atmosphere to be explored before construction.

Every decision seeks to maintain a careful balance between experience, aesthetics, and functionality.
